I have had my TH55 for 1 month and I still dont have a memory stick, for one reason because all the money I had was to buy my Clie, and second because I dont want to buy just a small MS.
Well what I would like to know is... where can I find cheap memory sticks? I dont need one too big, 256 is enough and if there is a 512 not too expensive I would buy it. But I need one!!! I cant play mp3, cant record movies, cant see flash files, cant record too much audio, cant play movies!!!
Thanks for any info! :)

the cheapest way to buy a 256 is by buying a 2x128 (an A/B switch on the stick), no pro speeds. You can find some via pricewatch or other price monitoring service easily. Or find someone trading up to a bigger memory stick and buy their old one (I did this recently).

Depends on your budget, but the cheapest I found thus far is $125 for a 512MB MS PRO Duo at Amazon. Considering that all Memory Stick devices will take the duo size (with adapter), I think it's probably the better route.

If you're looking for the 128 x 2 card that SamCat mentions, then it's listed as $34 (also on Amazon).
Hope this helps.

If you can afford an MS Pro Duo (the only way to go), I just purchased a 512meg Lexar MS from B&H photo for $95 incl. shipping. It works in the Lexar MultiCard reader, my NX70V (upgraded driver) and my fujitsu notebook. Great stick and well worth the money in the long run.

I purchased my 256 MB card at Costco. Nice thing is that it is a full 256 (not the 2x128). It's made by SanDisk and if I remember right, it was only $59.
Not too bad for price, and it holds 4 CDs worth of MP3s!

I agree. MS Pro Duo is the preferred way to go. I hated this at first because it was another format Sony was pushing on us. Seeing that it would work in our Clies (with the adapter) changed my mind. This, I believe is going to be Sony's preferred format in the future as it is tiny enough to go into a multitude of devices. That being said, there are amazing deals to be had on regular old memory Sticks. A 128MB can now be had for a song...$20!! I think for you a 512MB MS is the best blend of price + storage as you will always find more things to put on you MS than you first imagined.
