SharkCSC (CO Sticker Creator) allows you to create stickers for Clie Organizer! It works fine as long as you follow the directions in the Readme.txt file. Have fun! Transparency setting is 255 0 255 (pink)

I did a quick run with just 2 bitmap icons and sync'd it and it seems to work fine.

Hi Sharkboy

I am not sure how to post the stickers on this site. I didnt create the bitmap, I took a bitmap someone made just to see if it shows up as a sticker and it did.

I also took a jpeg picture of my daughter and resized it to 40x40 pixels and saved as bmp and it worked too. Now I'll be trying to gather some useful stickers for me.

UPDATE! I've just added a TRANSPARENCY COLOR!!! The RGB values are: 255 0 255 (Pink) download the update from the link in the original post.

I downloaded the program....read the TXT file....but how can I recognize the BMP files needed to make the icons.....and where can I find them :confused:

the icons can be any bitmaps! you can download them off the web and resize them to 20x20 or 40x40 or alternatively make your own icons with Paint/Adobe Photoshop

once you've made your icons, just drop them in the SharkCSC folder, run the prog, and you're done!

I keep getting a Run-Time error '6': Overflow everytime I try to use this. I have 21 images, BMPs, 40x40, 16-bit and in the correct directory. Anything else I can try?

i wonder... i've never seen an icon set with 21 images... maybe that's too much?

Im getting the same error. At first I tried with 26 .bmp files, then with 19, 10, 5 and the same error always. Im using only 20 X 20 bmps. Using transparency with 255,0,255. About 16bit and desnity of 144 I dont know where to specify that. Im saving them with ms paint as 24 bit. 16 bit would be 256 colors? I also tried using 256 colors but the same problem.

You made a great program! But one thing I don't quite get it.
How do you mean when you say bitmaps must be 16-bit and 144 density? How do you set it? Also, you mentioned transparency color is 255 0 255 - that is pink all right - but do you mean you use this color on the background? Please enlighten me!!!

Hi! You set the bitmap density and bit differently depending on which photo editor (i.e. Photoshop) you use.

The pink transparent color should be used anywhere you want to show through (like the background)

When i run the program i get a rpc file not a prc file. What am I doing wrong?

hey!

make sure you have one or more files with a .bmp extension in the folder, then type in a name and click the go button. please wait maybe 5 seconds after you do that and a message box should pop up telling you it's done. at that point, you should have a .prc in the same folder as SharkCSC is located.
