I couldn't find any related info in this forum, so I'll ask.
Any one has a 'middle caps' solution for the NX Clie?
Any estimated date for Tappad for OS 5.0?

Check out the beta version of TealScript. It has this feature included as well as a Graffiti anywhere type app. It's very nice!

Thanks, I'll give them a try.
(I love my new NX...)

I tried MemHack before, and it crashed my NX70.
Can anyone confirm that it's worked with their NX? And the MiddleCaps-like function works too?
Thanks

I have had MemHack on my NX70 with no problems.
It does not work exactly like MiddleCaps. Instead of writing the letter across the imiginary line, you write it in the upper right hand corner of the letter VG area. Someone on the forum said they were going to look into it and see if they could modify it to work exactly like MiddleCapsHack, but I don't know if they ever got it to work.

I can only capitalise characters when the start and the end of a stroke land on different graffiti regions (e.g start on alpha, end on numeric).
As such, characters like "A" works, but, characters such as, "B" wouldn't.
Apparently, someone has written a MiddleCapHack like app for OS5, called CrossOver. Unfortunately, it works only on Tungsten. I don't know why.

As a word of advice, I can tell you what not to do. I purchased TealMaster, largely to get my registered version of Graspeedy going. In case you aren't familiar with either program, Graspeedy is a hack that, among other things, gives you an adjustable space in the center of the graffitti area that allows direct entry of capital letters. It worked really well on my previous machine (N710). I was unaware when I bought my NX that OS5 didn't support hacks. I then saw an ad for Tealmaster, which was purported to make hacks operate in OS5. I got it, but Graspeedy doesn't work, even though it is supposedly activated in Tealmaster. I suspect it has something to do with the OS5 having a 'virtural' writing space, but I don't know for sure. Maybe Tealscript is the way to go.
