What all programs can you use over wifi besides iternet and email?

I'm looking for a program that can send and recive notes (messages) or the wifi from a work machine to the clie.

Any other useful things the wifi can be used for in a work settings (Computer work and repair that maybe I haven't thought of?)

Are there any messaging programs which will also work between clie's with wifi?

I'm trying to convince my boss to by it for me and one for a co-worker and she is intrested but needs some reasons.

I think that Palm VNC or Winhand I would probably use, and I would probably use it at different offsite locations, some of which should have WiFi (dont know because I dont have anything to test with; I was thinking of using some messaging stuff for when I was offsite). I would also set a wireless network at home if I get the card.

What all do you use it for besides internet and email?

i use it for wireless hotsyncing and instant messaging, you can use like aol, msn, yahoo.

but aside from that, i think thats about it. i'm not sure if it is possible, but i think you can download files, so if your boss needed you to look at some document you can download it and edit them and what not.

What do you mean WiFi? When you say offsite, does it have a LAN connection or do you need a cellular phone for access.

I use mine for internet access, email, Winhand, and HotSync. It gives me freedom, but for real serious work, you need a regular PC.
