I used to use it before I dumped Earthlink Wireless with my old m515 (The Minstrel m500 modem was too slow and too unreliable, the service too expensive). However, even with a mere 19200 bps, Win-Hand was surprisingly useful. An example: For some web sites, I found it was more useful to simply connect to my file server with Win-Hand and then fire up Internet Explorer than it was to use my Palm's own browser, especially since Blazer doesn't support Javascript.
Very nice and amazingly fast. The password system is a little clunky (you might say it's a little on the paranoid side). You generate a list of passwords on the PC side and Hotsync them to the Palm. The two devices then use this password list to authenticate. When you run out of passwords, you can't connect until you generate some more and sync again. If you've got an intermittent wireless connection you may find yourself going through a dozen passwords in a single session as you lose your cennection and reconnect again. For this reason I created a large password list, with 100 passwords. I would prefer just having a single password to use every time but the developer doesn't want to do this. My only gripe.
Haven't checked out the latest versions since I no longer have a wireless connection.

You might want to try PalmVNC, it only uses 1 password.

In my experience PalmVNC is so slow as to be unusable. I tried it, and then I tried Win-Hand. I registered Win-Handabout 5 minutes later. For one, WH is written in assembly language. I suspect this may mean it won't work on OS5, but I haven't tried it since I got my NX70.

I agree Win-Hand is faster. If you get the free version, you don't need passwords, but it has no security at all otherwise.
