View Full Version : help! can't re-install netfront

I deleted netfront with a view to a clean re-install.

However, when I try this (from the installation CD) and do a sync, my clie (NX70V) reboots.

I now have something called "netfront3_inst" taking up 2044K, but netfront per se is not an installed application.

Any ideas?

I have cleared 5.5M of RAM for the install just in case I needed some space.

You need more. Free up 6 MB of RAM and then it'll work.

Didn't work.

I freed up 6.3M of RAM by moving just about everything to the MS via PowerRun.

When I try to install netfront, it reboots and I am left with the 2.0M install image but no running installed application.

Any further ideas?

Try to free up some more space. Sometimes it needs up to 8 megs (don't ask me why).

I hate NetFront with a passion:D! IMHO, it's the biggest piece of crap Sony has ever put out next to Clie Viewer...

After trying 2 days for install this crap, I'm start feeling like you...
May be the next version needs 12 Mb for install it... :D
Don't forget the picsel viewer... another piece nice of crap...

I tried Pocketlink but it makes my NX to crash. Some icons even can't show up. I have to delete the saved preference and do a soft reset. I wonder where do I do wrong?

I upgraded to the lastest version 2.54 of Plink and now all I get is fatal exception errors on access now. I have emailed the developer.

The past couple of days, ClieSource has really been slow!
