Anyone knows who's (company/brand) making e chip used in SONY Memory Sticks?

Its most likely either Samsung or toshiba. Those are the two main manufacturer's of NAND style flash memory - the type of flash that is used in smart media, CF and MS.

Samsung has market share and is most likely the one.

actually I just discovered the other day that Samsung makes all the Sony Memory Sticks for Sony.
