Any NX80 user can surf internet via bluetooth to connect with GPRS mobile?
I saw some BT MS shaped card but I found nowhere to buy it, I asked the local sony store but they said this kind card has already stop produce. Then I heard NX80 doesn't support any BT external accessary... I m now been totally confused, because I m planning buy a 3G mobile if my NX80 can connect with mobile via BT or I m gonna to buy a WL100.

I know of no BT card for the NX80. I too have been looking for a card for my NX80. The BT memorystick (if they were available) would be strange sticking out of the side of my pda. I currently have a wifi card so at least I can use that. It would be nice if there were a cf option, but none available I can find. Drivers seem to be the big issue.

I have both the BT Mem Stick and the wifi CF card. The mem stick works great and although it sticks out the side a bit, it's still well worth having to add BT functionality to my nx80. If you need BT on your nx, it's a must have.

I managed to buy a BT memory card for my NX80V from ebay for £80, was pretty lucky though as have been bidding on them for months and people were willing to pay a lot more. That said, once it arrived I had to install some new drivers for it on my clie (link below should have most of the ones you need).

http://www.clie-link.com/UK/updates.asp?ID=884&submenu=updates.asp&mainmenu=compatibility.asp

The next problem however was to get it hooked up to my motorolla v600 operating on the orange network, which necessitates adding new connection and network settings in the prefs tab on the Clie homepage. I do not think this is the same for other phones as they can setup through the communications wizard that comes on the CD with the bluetooth mc.

For the connection setting I created a new one called motorolla link. IN the conect to field I had to choose local network, via: bluetooth, then click on the find device button to make a blutooth connection to your phone.

Then go to the network option, and create a service called motorolla link (ie the same name as the connection you just created) add a username and password both just (a) (as they don't really matter. and in the connection field choose motorolla link (ie the connection you just created). then hit details, choose you connection type as PPP, idle timeout as never tick query DNS and tick IP address automatic.

Lastly click script, and this is slightly complex, but again you probably won't have to do this unless you are unfortunate enough to have a motorolla v600 on the orange network.

The script is as such

Send: at+cgdcont=1,,"orangeinternet"
Send CR:
Delay: 3
Send: atd*99***1#
Send CR:
Delay: 3
Wait for: CONNECT
End:

Then you should be able to use netfront and clie mail to surf the internet and download your e-mails.

beware however it takes a while to establish the connection and the internet speed is pretty slow.

If any one knows a way of speeding this up I would be very grateful.

Hope this helps.

Just a little bit worry about the speed, any1 tried can tell me how slow is it =.=b Im my opinion, the speed depend on Orange company or maybe ur mobile, as soon as I got that card I can do some texting about if the types of mobile affect the connect speed.
