The hotsync log shows everything is OK. But when I look at the log in the desktop, it comes out with this:

- Configuration Inspector::Reading: C:\Program Files\Sony Handheld\nanny\SonyMCAS\MCASCICI.txt.
-- Configuration Inspector::Input file access error = 2.
- Configuration Inspector::Updating: "C:\Program Files\Sony Handheld\nanny\SonyMCAS\MCASCICO.txt".
OK Configuration Inspector

Any interpretation for that??

:confused:

This has to do with this Sony internet updater. It's a tool that should give you easy access to updates and patches for the TH55 and allow downloading and installing of those.

I got this error too and since I didn't get the updater to work at all, I've deleted it and never saw this message again.

I'm getting this error also whenever I Hotsync. Did you just delete the specified file from that directory on your harddrive, or is there an app for the PC and/or TH55 that has to be uninstalled?
Thanks!

P.S. My error report is:

Handheld\van\SonyMCAS\MCASCICI.txt.
-- Configuration Inspector::Input file access error = 2.
- Configuration Inspector::Updating: "C:\Program Files\Sony Handheld\van\SonyMCAS\MCASCICO.txt".
