Connect T665c with Nokia 3360 via IR?

Help me before I CILL somebody! Pulling hair out! Oh, that's not hair!

I have a t665 and a nokia 3360 with web capability and IR. I should be able to dial the phone (even direct to a Dial-Up ISP) with the 665 and go online, get email, etc.

I can't. In fact, I can't even get the 665 to wake up the 3360. I've turned on IR on the 3360 and made a "connection" setup in the 665.

Does anyone know how to do this or are there specific instructions for doing it anywhere on the net? It seems that such a fundamental function ought to have been solved by now, but i can't find any good info.

I have the exact same set-up just got mine last night so any information on the procedures on doing it would be appreciated. I am still waiting for cingular to activate my wireless internet option.

Maybe if we work together we can get it done. At the moment I can't even get the clie to dial the **** phone. My guess is that if I can ever get that to work, the rest ought to be simpler?

Guess that's wishful thinking, but keep me posted if you find out anything. I'll do the same, back here.
