Brando has a new wireless (IR) keyboard:

brando.com.hk (http://shop.brando.com.hk/universalwirelesskeyboard.php)

Like the Palm Wireless Keyboard, it has a swiveling arm to hit multiple models. It supports multiple platforms. And it's bigger than I'd like. Unlike the PWK, it has a full, dedicated number row- yay. Unlike the Bluetooth keyboard, it's a reasonable US$43. Looks like it has four function (app) keys, like the original folding (non-wireless) keyboard, but it was hard to tell from the picture.

The site lists compatibility with PalmOS 5.2x, but not the Zodiac specifically. Any reason why this wouldn't work? Don't know how the PDA mounts to the keyboard, but something physical like that can be easily kludged.

Unless it has a physical link for the Zodiac I wouldn't recommend trying it. The IR would no doubt work but without a stand for the Z it would be virtually useless.

I'm not sure I like that huge gap in the middle either. I guess I'd have to try one to know for sure. I use the palmOne IR keyboard (which is made by ThinkOutside). It works very well. They keys feel as good as a nice laptop keyboard. The lack of a number row is a bit of a drag, but they did it so as to keep the size down while still having full-size keys, and I can't blame them for making that decision. OTOH, what really bugs me is the lack of a mouse substitute. I'd love for it to have an IBM Thinkpad-style eraserhead pointing stick with left/right mouse buttons below the space bar. Without it, you have to lift your hands off the keyboard and tap on the screen every so often.
