Hi, all. I find the UX-50 deficient in one thing only: playing games 'cause of hard button issue. So I'm looking around to see what other people think are the best games you can play with just the stylus. I have Gamebox Solitaire and Snails, which are great. HellFire doesn't play well, at least on my UX, durnit. So whaddaya think?

I've got to go with some of the word-type games.
Crossword
Text Twist
Scrabble

For game playing,
Bouncin'
Breakout
Bubblet
Dynomite
Hold 'em Poker
Legacy
300 Bowling rocks
Bejeweled
Billards

I guess that's about it for my recommendations.

Mike

Warfare Inc
TouchTetris
SAIS
SpaceWar
SpaceTrader
Acid Freecell/Solitaire
Vexed

I would also recommend Lemmings except it runs really crappily on my TH55. It was great on my T665 'tho :)

Same here with the TH55 button placement.

I would say:

The Amazing World Game (Binoteq) - childhood favourite
Warfare Inc. (Handmark)
Aldon's Crossing (Constant Games)
Insaniquarium (Astraware)
Seven Seas (Astraware)
Bookworm (Astraware)
TakTik (Kickoo)
Breakout (Kickoo)
Qubix (PDA Treasures)
BrushRoller (PDA Treasures)

Thanks, mamut. CliRogue is Japanese-made. It is the Clie version of Rogue and this page (http://roguelikes.sauceforge.net/pub/www/roguelike.html) explains what Rogue is all about.

Also check out:
Bounce Out (Astraware)
Cubis (Astraware)
Chainz (Astraware)
Monopoly (Handmark)

Actually Zuma would be a nice game too if they make it available for Palm OS. :)Currently it's only available on Windows (not sure abt Mac).

SNAILS SNAILS SNAILS!!!! Snails lis an all stylis based worms clone. Rifleslugs is good, but snails is much better because it is more polished. IT is also a very funny game
"Chupin is losing faith in his all candy diet, please wait" quotes like that appear in the game all the time!!

I don't recommend to use snails on clie th55, becose it have very bad bugs (when you are selecting weapons) and when you launch rifle slugs on your clie th55 and exit your virtual graffiti area will stay on and you can't turn it off and you must make soft reset that you can turn it to down, so now... we how are using clie th55... don't have no snail/worm games...

This is just bonus information for clie th55 users...

I really enjoy Astraware's RocketMania, esp in strategy (un-timed) mode -- I can pop it on, play a quick bit, close it up and we're off. Can't do that with Legacy (much as I love it!).

I greatly enjoy TextTwist, but it's annoying via stylus. Attach a keyboard (belkin et al) and the game REALLY takes off...

Another applaud for CHAINZ (Astraware, again), esp since it, like Rocketmania, is an easy to get in/out of game.

Note: If you're gonna play Legacy, USE A SCREEN PROTECTOR!!
