I have read many of the posts regarding the buffering issue with 128 bit streams via shoutcast/netfront/ptunes combo. I have a pocket pc (IPAQ4155 has incredible WIFI range!!! ) and streams 128 stations with ease. TH55 does not, so it is not the stations (as ptunes suggests on their FAQ). I think it is either the quality of the WLAN or ptunes. Has anyone found a way to fix this yet?

I still haven't been able to get anywhere near being able to listen to a 60kbps stream via PTunes on my UX50...much less a 128 bit one. :(

I too find that most 128kbps stations seem to buffer a lot. Except www.radiomax.hu! Weird.

OK, like I said in my original email - everything works fine on PPC setup, why not TH55
Is it WLAN or Ptunes?
What do you think?

It probably has something to do with the architechture of both the TH55 & the UX50 as they share the same HHE and other internals. I have talked to people on here who have no problem with high kbps streams on their NX80V.
