T625 vs. Palm505

I have a T625 and I have just given my 2.5 yr old daughter an old Palm505 to play some v.kiddie games. The games run much faster (like about twice as fast) on the 505 than the CLie. As far as I know they both have 33mhz processors. They are both running from the internal memory. Anybody know any reason to explain this?

Hires, vs. lores.

625 has to process about twice as much resolution as the 505.

ALso if the games are natively hires, turn off the hires assist for that particular game...that may make it run a bit quicker.
