I like the Grinder Gear Basecamp case for my NZ, however, I do not know if the NZ will fit inside. I know the outside dimensions are larger than the NZ, but is the inside? Can anyone who HAS one comment?

Also, davy19 (if you're listening) how do you insert your NZ into the Pygmy Pouch? I just got mine tonight and I put it in (camera side up) and the velcro barely can close together (maybe I need to insert upside down?). Also, do you feel safe putting MS's into the outside pocket? I am worried that an MS might fall out!

Thanks everyone!

Hi,

I have the Grinder Gear Basecamp and yes the NZ fits but just barely.
The top will close but you wont be able to latch the velcro the NZ is about 1/2 to long

This is a very nice case but it is a little bulky for everyday wear.

My preferred everyday case is a simple caselogic PLT10 which fit the NZ very nicely and is much less bulky.

At least until I find something better.

The Basecamp top closes fine with my NZ. The only problem I have noted is a propensity to open the lens cover.

Just got mine today, fits like a glove, literally. Top closes np. I agree with Unregistered Angelica, sorta bulky. It's good for carrying you accessories around (audio adaptor, MS, Wi-Fi, stylus pen). I'm trying to decide if it will double as a wallet...

Bulky, yes but with a modem, WiFi card and spare battery on board, it's an essential. The swivel belt clip does help deal with the bulk.

One tip, the NZ fits best with the camera bulge down, away from your body.

well, i am hoping to receive mine on Monday. I need something to carry all my accessories and maybe my wallet and keys. if it's tight, does grinder gear make anything larger?

thanks for responses.

I don't think so, but I here Samsonite is putting out a for your CLIE that will include room for the kitchen sink. JK It would be a pretty tight squeeze, if you had a thin bi-fold wallet and a small idea of accessories. I'll take some pics and post them.

Grindergear makes a larger case but it looks like it would be a PITA with a NZ. Sounds like you need a "Man Purse." ;) Perhaps a Tom Bihn Small Cafe Bag. (http://www.tombihn.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=001&Product_Code=TB0201&Product_Count=11&Category_Code=TBP)

Mr. T. you're crackin' me up man. The whole time I'm thinking/looking for info on cases I keep thinking, "It's European" (Seinfeld joke, not a jab at folks of the European persuasion). Then you have to throw in the "Man Purse". I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to need a utility belt w/ suspenders just to tote my habit around.
