Use Fonthack which is freeware available at Palmgear. It takes a bit of configuring for hires display, but is worth the effort. Fonthack includes some new fonts and there are lots of other font packages out there as well.

Do a search on ClieSource for Lubak fonts for a discussion. You'll also find a discussion of Swiss fonts. Lubak's font page is at http://www.pilot.sk/lubak/. You should find what you need there.

In most applications you can set the size of the fonts specifically for that program. It takes some time, but it´s worth your effort.

I use Datebook5, TealPhone, and several other add-ons, and they all have several options for fonts.

I still haven´t found a Memo application that is worth replacing the original.
And the original Memo Pad v. 4.11S (included in Clié) have a choice of three fonts.
Same as the original DateBook, Adress, ToDo & Mail. They´re all built on the same
framework.

Open up MemoPad (..or any other orig. appl...); click on Menu; choose Options, and then Font...- select the biggest one.

If it´s still not big enough, I agree with the others on list; check out 3d party add-ons.

Good luck

It's never right, is it. :)

I would like to have smaller fonts when reading Avantgo for example. The Times New Roman - 8 font is wonderful for reading in my DocsToGo. However, when I try to use this font with fonthack123 for Avantgo, the word spacing is horrible, and weird black pixels appear under each word.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

You might find that all you need is ThinFontFix, it's free at Palmgear.com

As I have learned much over the past months on these forums, there is one advice I'll have to disagree with totally. I know that opinions are opinions, but I'll try to explain why:

Thinfontfix does make the letters somewhat thicker, but the letter spacing is just horrible! With Fonthack123, and Lubak's OS5 fonts, the same amount of screen space is taken by the fonts, but the fonts are much more readable and the letterspacing has not been compromised.

Please have a try, the program and fonts are free. You can always revert back to Thinfontfix if you really must. :)

ThinFontFix is a much simpler solution, and I don't find the spacing to be a problem.

I am fairly new to the Clie having moved to a T665c from a Palm m515 several months ago (just too many goodies on the T665c to resist). One reason I waited so long to get a clie was the thin fonts. For my money (especially since they're free) FontHack123 and Lubaks os5 Font makes clie look great, are easy to use, and are very stable.

Just my 2 cents :D
