Thank you to everyone who recommended this phone/plan. I can connect, surf, etc. This question isn't really UX related, but here goes..
Can I sync the 610 to Outlook on my PC with bluetooth?

oh duh, I figured it out. On the off chance anyone else needs to know, open "my bluetooth places" (after you've paired the phone and the pc), then click on your phone, then click on IrMc Sync on 610

I have a T610 and a UX50 as well, I would recommend this software, I find it highly usefull and it syncs with outlook. and best of all, its free!!

I have the 610 unlimited with my UX50, however I have high speed data through comcast. I don't have a dial up number for my service. Is there a way to connect with out this?

Not sure how the comcast high speed internet fits into the picture?
But, at the top of this forums there's a FAQ, in there is some good info for getting a ux50 and a t610 up and running together.

I posted this the other day... but had no replies :-( are you T610 owners having any problems like this ?
"I am having some problems with SMS and my T610 and was wondering if anyone else had been having the same trouble or figured out how to solve it?
I have a UX50 and a T610 which I use to connect to Vodafone. I seem to have them setup correctly because I can access the Internet using GPRS over bluetooth and it is completely reliable. (Depending on the GPRS signal)
I can pick up and read SMS messages on the UX without any problems at all but when I write them on the UX and send them they don't always get sent. Half the time, the recipient recieves a message that is blank, sometimes they don't get a message at all and sometimes it works.
I have not been able to establish a pattern to these SMS send problems to try and solve it. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a solution?"

Thanks, if I have any trouble, I'll definately look into that. I was able to pull all my outlook contacts into the 610 via BT, made a bunch of changes, sync'd again - it was flawless. Had no idea it'd be that easy.

Do you mean connect either the UX or the 610 to your computer? I'm not using dialup for anything, just bluetooth on both (no cables) and I also have Comcast.
To connect either through your computer, you need a BT dongle (class 1 preferably) ($29-49) and the software installed. Then you have the option of surfing on the UX via your pc, and you can sync through bluetooth to the UX or to the 610.
Here are instructions for setting up BT to get internet via the PC:

After you do that, you pair the 610 the same way, then install the software that came with the 610, and then sync how I described on my second post on this thread.
Paula, the FMA software is actually not just a sync program, it does much more... U can setup scripts to run w/ other programs like Winamp, so that when you lose BT connection with the computer it will pause your music, or it will have a popup on your screen, with any pics you have associated w/ contact, that lets you know there's an incoming call or text message... Pretty fun stuff...

Thanks! Tell me more, or where to go read up on it (warning I am really stupid about this stuff - never touched a PDA until the UX and the fanciest cell phone I had until yesterday was a V60 TDMA lol)
lol, it's a really cool program if you're by your computer a lot, or if you play music at your computer at work... It's kinda hard to setup (if you don't have BT setup on your computer) but once you get it setup it's really kinda cool. You just have to have a BT dongle for your computer and you should be fine... Just go to the link that phil sent you and you should be able to download there. Freeware so even better... I haven't really used and of the extra scripts available, to connect w/ iTunes, Winamp and other programs... But the included stuff is pretty cool, you can do anything on your phone from the program, go through menus and such as well as sync all photos and ringtones... Check it out, lemme know if you have any problems, hopefully I can help...

I downloaded and installed Fma 0.1.1.12, couldn't get it to connect to the phone. I was trying to use the bluetooth section in options and figured out that I had to enter the device address, but the connect or search for device part stayed grayed-out. It looks like something really cool though, I'm just not understanding how to get it to see the phone.

In the software config, use serial port and com5, the bluetooth driver usually makes a virtual com5 serial port that is actually the bluetooth connection. the home page for that software also has some good tutorials for setting it up.
Yeah, I wasn't able to setup in fma using the BT connection, had to use it as a serial port...

It sure it, I added one built-in script to use the 610 to control the PC like a remote - didn't need to do that as I have a Vaio V200G which has a remote, but still lots of fun (I think I'll take over the mouse when someone else is using it)
