I've got to pair my Clie with new Toshiba tablet and it's looking for the PIN. Is there a way to tell what a device's PIN is without some kind of documentation? Would appreciate any help with this.

[COLOR=DarkGreen]You could try 1111, 0000 or 1234 they're all common. When the Clié finds the other device, often the other device (for fones, usb bluetooth modules for computers) will ask you to enter a bluetooth pin there, and all you do is hit okay, and then the Clié will ask you for a pin. Enter the same one you did for the other device.
So long as both devices have the same pin when they connect that should be fine as far as I know.
hope that helped

i don't have much experience in using BT with Palms, but maybe you can set a pin code up in the BT settings menu.

The request for a PIN is a security check, to stop someone from connecting to your device without your permission. When the other device tries to connect to yours it's up to you to decide on a PIN. This can be anything you want, 123, 0, anything! When you enter something, say 123, and click OK the other device will get a message asking for a PIN to complete the pairing. Enter the same PIN you made up for your own device (123) and confirm. The pairing will complete.
Have fun!.

Yeah, I did the same thing, making the PIN the same on both my z600 and the NZ90...
