Quicker way to find/launch programs, no scrolling!

I never did read my manual, so maybe everyone but me already knows this shortcut:

To get to a program on the launhcer screen without scrolling through many programs just enter the first letter of the program in the graffiti area or on the keyboard and it will pull up the program that starts with that letter.

Who didn't already know this?

Actually the standard launcher only tries to put the line, containing the first icon with the letter you type, as close to the top as possible. Unfortunately this doesn;t work when you ar at the end of the list. Then it just shows the last page of icons and you're still eft searching around for it. YiShow does a better job at this (and the new CLIE launcher too)

the quickest way to launch my favorite and most recent apps is with mcphling (I have it set to the capture button)
