Intellisync Lite sucks!

Anyone know how to get Intellisync Lite sync between Outlook/Datebook? By default, it only syncs "future items"...if I change it to sync a date range, it wants to delete recurring appointments from my Clie. As a former Chupura Pocket Mirror user, is there any way to get Intellisync Lite to just sync everything?

I didn't have that problem. at the very start I just told it to sync to everything first.

only thing that I have a problem which is with the palmitself is that it doesn't sync everything that outlook has

I feel your pain, I ended up reinstalling and setting up the intellisync options. That appears to have worked for me. It syncs everything I selected. Of course for a small fee you can upgrade to the "FULL" version. :-)

full didn't do anythign for me. All I want is to sync all my addresses without loosing anything. :) And my calender. :)

I'll try the reinstall process and see if I might have "missed" some option somewhere. I'm about ready to dump it all together and try to reinstall the Pocket Mirror software that came with my Visor. I've used PMirror for years and the damm thing just worked without me ever having to think about it...so to have these problems with the software that came with my "advanced" $800 NZ is just plain disturbing.

Did you already go into intellisync configure and modify the datebook conduit by going into the "advanced" section and choose "Transfer all scheduled items" vice "Transfer only future items?"

I've never liked the look of the Intellisync program and still use the Pocket Mirror prog that came with my V all those PDAs ago (Vx, 505, T615, NR, NX).

I've yet to use the NX to sync with Outlook, but I regularly sync my NR with Outlook, using the desktop that comes with the NX (I hope that's clear!) - and Pocket mirror continues to do the job.

This is exactly what you have to do.

Thanks all...my bad. Yes I was stupid and hasty. For some reason when I first read the "Transfer all scheduled items" option I didn't take that to mean "sync everything". duh... Changing that option did in fact "transfer all".

However, I should note that Intellisync also created over 600 duplicate datebook entries into Outlook and the Clie. For some reason, some (about 600) but not all, of my datebook entries were timeshifted 2 hours ahead and duplicated creating two entries 2 hours apart. The strange thing is that it only did this for about 600 of my 2000 datebook entries. I've since cleaned up the dups and re-sync'd and I think it's back to "normal", but does anyone have a clue as to why this happend?

All in all, I have to say that Pocket Mirror is a better product than Intellisync. For others switching over, I would recommend they do what Simon did...stick with Pocket Mirror.

The duplication thing is something that seems to happen intermittently. Just be happy we're not still forced into using Truesync.

Well I can't quite agree with you all.
I have changed from the good old Visor Deluxe and hadn't had any inconvenience, yet. What I find best is the fact, that it asks you beforehand it is transferring any data.
So you are warned if you overwrite anything(you should enable it first of course). Also you can see all entries before they are transferred. If something is on both platforms modified you can choose which to keep or sync them or keep both.
In my eyes this is a "Truesync" and woth spending the money for- although I have only the Lite version ;-)
You need to map the fields properly to have the best results. It could be also the fact thath I am using the german version- who knows.

By the way: Chapura is doing a great job. Their support responded always within 24h with a suitable answer to my problems. Thumbs up.
