So I just got a new cell phone in Japan, the F505i (alright, it's not that new...), that comes with a QR code reader function. Basically, it's like a bar code reader that uses the camera to get information stored in the GR format (here's a link: http://www.denso-wave.com/qrcode/index-e.html)
Anyway, there's also a companion program for the Palm, QR Mail (downloadable from this page: http://www5b.biglobe.ne.jp/~eij/pam-ya/palmware/index.htm#QRMail )
that allows you to write the mail on your Clie, and then converts it into a barcode. Wave the cellphone at the barcode, and it automatically sends that data as a cell email! It's way way handier than punching those tiny little buttons...
In addition, my old phone used to let me beam names and phone numbers back and forward from address books by infrared. New one doesn't unfortunately...
So, are there any other cool convergence tricks that you guys do with your PDAs?
