What software do you use or could you use to turn your DVD's into TH55 compatible MPEG-1 or Quicktime files (The only two that the Clie Player can play as far as I understand)? What sort of resolutions and file sizes am I looking at?

You will probably need quite the memory stick. A DVD is about 4GB so...

I wish I could remember where I seen a link to that information today. I would just go to www.download.com and find DVD converters/encoders.

Not quite true. If you use the right compression and deppending of your encoding settings kpbs, fps, resolution, audio, etc
I recommend you to #1 DVD Ripper (http://www.dvdtox.com/dvd_ripper.htm) it gives you a nice MPG file so you can try it on your Clie right away. Make sure you get Avx MQTParser to be able to watch movies at more than 15fps.
questions just PM me

Well how small can you get a 4GB DVD with OK quality?

There's a whole forum about it.

Go to Topic Specific / Application / Video

and there you'll find answers to all your questions.
