View Full Version : Returned NZ90 and back to NX70V

I guess I couldn't justify spending that much on a PDA, especially since I have a very tiny 3 mp camera already. But, I also want to take spy pictures, especially of the girls at the health club when I go. When I tried doing that with the NZ90, the flash accidentally went off and everbody was giving me a strange look. Even without the flash, the camera is very noticeable. My thoughts about the NX70 compared with NZ90...much easier to carry around, obviously. But the screen isn't nearly as bright and the keyboard isn't that good. Oh well, I hope the NZ90 isn't the upgrade to the NX70V. I hope we'll see the next NX with built in wifi, more ram, better speaker, and brighter.

Maybe we will read about PDA's being banned in public places for this reason, or maybe he is looking to create some new "home movies" for the ladies.

okay, i have to post a reply to this one since this one bothers me a little...
first, i'm not trying to speak out on behalf of all women or state that all men are evil. so don't mistake this for a feminist diatribe against men and the evils carried out against all women. this is just a comment on the specific action mape245 described.
i just need to say that if i knew a guy was taking pictures of me on the sly at the gym, i would find that very creepy and disgusting, and not at all a compliment. magazines like playboy are out there that contain pictures of women who WANT to be photographed. yes, a gym is a public place and i don't contest anyone's right to do certain things in public places, but it's still plain creepy.
wouldn't any of you guys feel uncomfortable for your wives/girlfriends/sisters if you knew some guy was out there taking picures of them bent over an exercise machine, without their knowledge? ew.
there. i'm done. not at all related to the clie nx, so no more from me on this thread...

I agree, it wouldn't be very nice. I am too old to look anymore. A Clie has more appeal anyway. I know that I don't like being watched, so I can image it's not comfortable for others. Whether it was kidding or not, it's in poor taste. I think sometimes it's forgotten that Cliesource is not just a man's world.

LOL, if my wife caught mape245 taking pictures of her at the gym, that would be the end of his NX. :D
FWIW, this is one of the reasons we have all the gym equipment at home now...

wow... the one thing that creeps me out as i read his post is that he saw NOTHING wrong with it. everyone gave HIM a strange look.

oh, by the way... for like 19.95 (as opposed to 600+) you can get a spy camera. it's at pervsareus.com and advertised all the time on yahoo's site.

"Spy" pictures are ok under the right circumstances, like a joke on a friend or someone doing something stupid. Not of strangers, especially in that kind of situation, that's just too creepy.
As for physical violence towards someone who _does_ do that, I can't agree to that. That's just as childish.

this is from a legal standpoint...In a public place such as the mall, health club, etc. You have a lowered expectation of privacy(and that been upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court). so even though it may be distaste ful to you, it is within his legal rights to do so.

import... what makes you think it's a joke? the whole point of his post was the lack of feasibility for holding on to his NZ... his seemingly true acct was a secondary reason for returning it... i didn't see any winks or any other indication that it was a joke. what's your evidence?
