Fatal Exception : Changing from Default App Launcher to CLIELauncher on NX70

Subject line says it all.

Some facts: I have been running with the PalmOS default launcher since I bought my NX70.
Last week I added a 128MB LEXAR MS card (bling bling model).
Purchased PowerRun to offload apps to the MS.
Added system patch from Sony site.

Now, changing from the default launcher to the CLIELauncher, the damn thing gets a Fatal Exception, and requires a reset (via reset pin - no screen response).

Any suggestions (besides using a different launcher and doing a hard reset)?

Something is corrupted somewhere. There have been times when I have had to restore everything from good backups.

Format the MS, hard reset the Clie, and delete the backup folder for the Palm Desktop, then restore it all.

It's no different than a PC. There are times when a restart is necessary.

Sorry for the theatrics. I was afraid as much. I have a good back up, but was more curious about anyone else having seen this happen so that I can try not to have it happen again. I HATE bugs you can't reproduce :)
