Is there any way to resize a photo taken with Clie Camera AFTER a photo has been taken and WITHOUT using a PC?

Resco Viewer can do this and a whole lot more. My fave photo viewing/editing app for the Palm. VERY powerful. I HIGHLY suggest it.

If you are looking towards a powerful photo editor for the Palm, then you should at least consider Mobile System's Mobile PhotoAlbum. I have tried Resco and found it lacking when compared to Mobile PhotoAlbum. Mobile PhotoAlbum offered more editing tools than Resco. I am currently reviewing both Mobile Paint and Mobile PhotoAlbum and definitely would recommend it if you like to edit your pics without the need of a PC.

I have never heard of this app. Thanks. I will check it out. Do you have a link to the website?

I have been trying out Mobile Photo Album v2.10 from www.mobi-systems.com. It costs $24.95 but you can download a 15-day trial.
The download is a hefty (for a Palm OS application) 4.357MB and comprises a Windows .exe file. Such .exe files always make me nervous - more so when, as in this case, the application wants to install something on my desktop PC. However, after installation, all I could find was the Palm application waiting to be installed on the Clie and a customised Hotsync conduit.
After the Hotsync the application took up 2428K of space on the Clie.
The application searches through all the Clie and Memory Stick and displays all photos found. It can display them as large or small thumbnails or with details. This is a fully featured application that would be regarded as a competent photo-editor for a PC - never mind on a Palm device. One of the most useful features is the ability to re-name photos - something that I haven't ever been able to do on the Clie out of the box without using the PC.
One worrying thing was that after Mobile Photo Album had found all my photos they were no longer available in the built-in Clie Viewer. I hope that I can recover them after the end of the trial.
The application has many, many features and can organise photos into albums and run slideshows. The editing options are also very powerful.
My requirement was to be able to take a photo at max resolution with the Clie and then re-size it within the Clie if I later decided to email it via Bluetooth and my mobile phone when size is critical. This ability is there but buried deep within the menu structure. Re-size actually does something different from what I wanted and re-scale is what I need. When I tried it out on a test photo I re-scaled the image to 50%. Surprisingly, this produced a file that actually increased in size from 137K to 150K. However, re-sizing for a second time to 50% produced a suitably small (37K) file to send via email.
In conclusion, I would say that this is a very competent application capable of doing almost any sort of image manipulation that you could want. However, for my (rather limited) needs it is expensive and overkill.
I will move on and try out something else.

Resco Photo Viewer - this is the one for me :)
See the link in post #5 above.
It's small, simple, easy to use and does what I want.
