I'm about to buy a Sena case (snap-on) because I want it to double as my wallet. I was wondering whether or not the colored paint will hold up through wear and tear. If that's the case...I think I'm going to opt for the all black version. Also, for those who have owned any Piel Frama cases...how does the leather on the Sena's compare. I really liked the softness of the leather of the Piel Frama's and was wondering if that's the case for the Sena's. Any input would be great. Thanks in advance.

I have all black so I cannot comment on the color. Sena leather is soft. A bit too soft in my opinion.

The edges will not hold up, the color wears off. It'd not dyed through. Mine wore off in about two months. Top and back hold up fine, it's just the edges, where they're painted. My edges are now, um, cardboard color (greyish).
Leather is soft enough, glove-like.
I use my Sena (magnet) at home because it syncs in the cradle. But the Vaja (snap) is my "wallet" case for out of the house. If I had to have only one, I'd have the Vaja and get the hotsync cable. The Sena already looks a little ratty because of the paint problem, like a dog-eared book, and it's not nearly as protective, particularly on corners (which are totally exposed) and back.

Agreed on all above points. My edges are wearing too, but the same thing happend to my Vaja case as well. It is some kind of acrylic paint for leather. You can simply do a touch up with black nail polish.
