Hotsync problem, please help!!

Today when I tried to hotsync my NX80 the PC wouldn't recognize the Clie. It says "cannot recognize the USB device". I tried hard reset on the clie and reinstalling the palm desktop, but it still gives me the same error! :confused:
Any ideas? Please help! Thanks in advance!

By the way, the Data Import wouldn't work as well. Please help :(

Have you added any other device recently? Particularly USB devices?

And (please don't be offended, since I've made this kind of error myself) I assume you've checked all the physical connections?

Try to uninstall, reinstall, then don't forget to restart. Check physical connections too. It happens in my Mac too so sometimes, all I have to do is just to restart.

did you install the correct palm desktop? is your hotsync manager active? if you're running windows 98, have you tried upgrading? =P

Sometimes deleting the USB root hub from the Windows device manager fixes problems like this. It's usually the Port In Use problem I get that fixes it. But sometimes deleting that device also causes other headaches, like having to reinstall drivers for other USB devices you use.

I just found out that the new tablet driver I've installed caused the problem. After reverting to the old drivers, the clie works again!:)
