I had an NZ90 a while ago and had to part with it due to some shortage of funds, and now that I have some extra cash, I want another NZ90. The first one I got was purchased at Best Buy on clearance for 399.99. I now they retailed at 799.99, and forgive me for being cheap, but I even 400 bucks was a lot (for me). I have been checking different retailers (Best Buy, Circuit City, on line stores, etc...) but the only place I've been able to find them is eBay, and some are selling for way too much. Does anyone know of where I can get a sweet deal on an NZ90?

Try Circuit City. i've been to two and they still have the unit in their inventory. i think it's still at SRP (or just below), but they may be clearancing them soon with Sony pulling out and the fact that they're not selling.

I've used these guys before and been pleased with their prices, though I bought my NZ used off the ClieSource board.
It will probably top-out around $400.

I just got a refurb off of eBay for $250 and it's in perfect condition. But now I have a problem, I have to get another one because my girlfriend won't leave mine alone! I think I may get one from Sony for $345 and get an extended warranty because I don't ever want to give this thing up.

Anyone have any comment on the refurb units from SonyStyle? I was thinking about picking one up. Are they like-new quality?

Like anything else, you pay your money, you take your chances. But, my attitude about refurbs is that they are usually a pretty good deal. I figure that whatever was going to go wrong with a unit has been fixed. Sometimes the "refurbs" are simply open-box units that can't be sold as new. They are serviced and checked out by Sony-certified service techs.
I have bought many refurb items in the past, from printers to cars. My 2003 Jetta TDI was purchased a year ago at a used car price because it had 125 miles on it and could not be sold "as new".
A "new" (refurbed) NZ90 for $345 is a darn good deal.

I picked one up from UBid.com for $240 and I've had it for about 1 month now. And when I got it, the USB cradle was bad so I had to send it in right away. I couldn't get it to charge at all. And that was the only thing I had at the time to charge it with. And Sony fixed it free of charge, but was out of it for a week for getting that done. And then when I got it back and put all my info into it and started using the programs. I found out that the Camera S and the Movie Recorder programs didn't work. SO now I have sent it back to Sony and they still have it, and it's been over a week again and no word on when I will get it back. So refurbished was cheaper, but haven't really got to use it yet. And it's been over a month....
