Need JPEG Util Library for ZLauncher

I have a Clie T615 and am missing the needed programs (JEPG_Library.prc and JPEG_Util_Library.prc) in ROM to convert JPEG's into backgrounds. Where can I get them?

:-( I have them in a ROM image, but can't get them out. Been trying to with POSE and SuperUtility, but they end up corrupted somehow. Anyone had any luck?

Don't know if it will work in this case, but I was able to get a copy of CliePaint out of ROM and onto another unit. I used FileZ. Did a copy and moved the copy to the MS. Beamed it from there. Worth a try.

I saw a utility called Chromed or something like that, it allowed you to take a rom and extract files from it, quite neat.

Actually, i should note, that i've explored it, but i've actually never used it, nor found any real use for it.

It' ssuppose to be to recompile your rom image to delete useless stuff, but the function to export it into jackflash files is disabled (and the only way that is specified in the manual to reflash roms), so i've had no use, I was trying to create a new rom for my NR, b/c i accidently deleted audioskin, later I broke it and sent it bak to sony,w here they reflashed it, so in the end, it's just sits on my hd.

Thanks for the link and all the comments here. I just installed the utilities lib on my Sony SJ30 and it works perfectly. Now I'm removing all the bmp files and installing the much smaller jpg files. Thanks again.

don't jpg's stored in the MS get converted to a bigger image file, anyway? at least, that's what happened when i USED to use yishow. yishow stored all the jpg's in the MS but converted them when selected, to wallpaper.

since i ahve plenty of room in the MS, i just use picture gear lite, which converts jpg's to prc images(about 160-200k) to store in the zl\backimage folder.

because yishow converted jpg's as they were selected for wallpaper, it took a little while. because they are already converted and stored in MS, they are applied as wallpaper much more quickly.

Hi, I'm glad you guys found the files usefull, I only have some questions. Did you have any problems at all with your jpegs, because I was able to see some jpegs after I install the libraries files, but I wasn't able to see others. Apparently some jpegs do work and some others don't. I don't know, it's a little bit weird, but I'm happy it works for you guys.

All of the jpegs that I have looked at have worked OK.
