Managing Memory

Is there an easy place to look up what belongs to what application?
When I go to the application list to delete things, many 'cryptic' names exist and I am sure they are all part of something else, so I am afraid to delete stuff.

Also, can applications be installed and run from the memory stick? Seems silly to have 16meg in the unit and 256Meg int he stick and not be able to use it, thanks

uninstall manager keeps track of programs

zlauncher or powerrun can run programs from memory card
(or try a hotsync to memory card. many programs may work that way)
