Notepad style app

I am looking for a notepad style ap, but so you could just scribble on the screen and save it as a note. I see a lot of you use BugMe and whatnot, but I am not looking for a reminder. I just want to save it as a note.

any suggestions?

I used Diddlebug on my Handspring Visor, but it won't work on my Clie (only the top 1/5 of the screen gets saved). However, you can try it and let me know if the problem is my machine (a hack or somethign) or a lack of compatability.

I had just downloaded that before you posted, I am trying it out, and I have the same problem. only the top 1/5 or so of the screen gets saved. Bummer. Any other suggestions?

In the ClieSource files area there's a program called MemoRU:

It seems to be a paint program primarily...but seems like it would serve the purpose....

Actually there are a couple of similar apps in that category - the next page in the category has one called "PenPenCol 2.3 ." I don't have time to try these right now (i'm at work) so please let me know how they perform...

Penpencol is more suitable for taking notes and the database is small. Memoru requires saving images on memory stick and is a bit slow...

Well, BugMe! is VERY stable for me on my NX70V, and is is full-screen (HiRes+). I RARELY use the reminder function. It's great for jotting down stuff in a pinch.

The other cool thing about BugMe! is that it has a lot of nice graphics tools too. The developers of BugMe! told me that they are working on a revised desktop version that will read/manage the images.

It may be overkill, but it works great.
