View Full Version : Using World Alarm Clock
I installed the World Alarm Clock and some .wav files to my memory card. The WAC won't recognize the files, and the file manager won't let me transfer them to the handheld because it says they're not Palm files. Can anyone give me some hints on using .wav files with the WAC -- and also any other hints about the program because I've never used it before and there aren't any instructions. Thanks

You have two choices:
1) Find someone that has a copy of Sound Converter v2 and get them to send it to you. You can convert WAVs to WAC-compatible ones using it. (If you do get it, please send me a copy!! :))
2) Convert your WAVs to 22kHz 4-bit IMA ADPCM WAV files (Easiest method is to load them into the Windows Sound Recorder and re-save them)
Now copy them to your /PALM/Programs/MSSOUND directory and they will appear in the VoiceRec program inside the TH55. From here you can tell VoiceRec to convert them into Alarms.
Viola! (No, not the musical instrument!)
