Hi,

About to move from NR70V to NZ90....

However, currently I use Palm Desktop in OSX10.2.4 on my Mac along with MissingSync.

So some questions....

1) What are the steps I should take once I get new NZ (after charging it up, plug in cradle...)?

In other words do I need to install anything on my Mac other than latest MissingSync?

2) what is the easiest way to move files/apps over to NZ?

Have 128MB MS....use it or just hotsync using my current Palm User folder data??

thanks,

Mark

One thing I can tell you, DO NOT HotSync directly from the NR70. Since I am MAC challenged, someone else can walk you through it.

If you are set up syncing your NR w/ your Mac you are halfway there. Upgrade to missing sync 3.0.5. I copied all my all stuff from my NR profile, I don't think I had any problems. I was blind with joy. HotSync has been quirky sometimes, it may be my cable...Good Luck

Thanks n2ifp and lanchman!

SO if I understand correctly....all I need to do is:

1. Upgrade my MissingSync to v3.0.5.

2. Hotsync the new NZ

Right?

Thanks,

Mark

Shouldn't be a problem, but I did the same thing w/ my T615 to NZ90 upgrade, and when I did the Hotsync, it put old programs from my T615 onto my NZ90 (due to backup). So, you may want to rename your backup folder to something else just in case. It shouldn't make much difference in your case since I think most of the apps are the same version, but you may want to do so just to be on the safe side.
