What Hacks are there for the NX80v?

Well.... It was a long and hard decision, but I finally purchased an NX over the UX model. I still LOVE the design of that PDA and Landscape, but over all NX80 was less exepnsive and has the features that that I found I would use most (meaning the camera's quality and CF expansion slot).

That being said, I've done some searchs on the web and here to learn more about the UX's abilities so when it arrives I will be ready to start using it. But of the searches I am confuesed about are what hacks are there for the NX80?

Are there Hacks which are better than others and which are the ones that would allow me to use the CF slot? I've also read that there are some hacks that willallow you to play MP3 and videos from...Is that true? Is there a specificlist list of CF cards that only will work?

Also does anyone know if there are other workarounds that could allow another WiFi CF card to work withthe NX80?

I totally appreciate any info anyone can offer. Thanks.

Oh yea, if you haven't already don't forget to check out the Jackflash app so you can release the flash and give your NX80 a total of 31 megs of user ram!

With respect to CF hacks, my vote would be for Peleca. I've been using my CF card for video and mp3 playback with no problems ever since I loaded them up. Basically, these are Clie apps from the UX, which for some reason allow for CF card usage. Specifically, there's MoviePlayer, AudioPlayer, and ClieCamera. Just install them over your current applications, and they play nice with the CF slot thereafter.

With respect to other "hacks", you can also try installing NetFront v3.1 from the TH55. It's faster than v3.0, and has more page rendering options as well. It also works better with certain sites, such as Hotmail and Yahoo. Do a search of the NX forum, and you should be able to find out all that you need on how to perform this particular "operation" on your NX. One tip, it plays nice with JackFlash...
