right now i have a T665 and my T68i phone, but i hate it how i have to use the infared to transfer between the 2 and i don't want the bluetooth memory stick cause then i won't beable to use the memory stick.

should i go with the tungsten t with my t68i phone or maybe just get the tungsten w and get rid of the t665 and t68i

on the tungsten w is the only way you can use the phone is with the headset? too bad it doesn't have bluetooth so i can use a bluetooth headset with it instead of the wired one

which one would you guys use.

i think sony should make something like a t665 with virtual graffity. built in phone and bluetooth. that would be nice

The Tungsten W has OS 4.1. The headset looks like a big downer. The keyboard can be very usefull for messages (SMS).

If you must have only one device, you could get that. Or you might want to wait for the Kyocera one, with OS 4.1, but with MP3, smaller, Graffiti area, flip close design, etc.

You might want to try this setup:

Get the Tungsten T. It has OS5 and Bluetooth.

Buy a Bluetooth headset.

Then, wearing the headset and with the phone (T68i) in your pocket, you can tap on a name in your address book (you might need to buy/download some phone software) and talk, with no wires, through the headset. It looks pretty neat.

If you have more questions, just ask.

or should i wait for the new sony tg-50 (i forgot the model), it also has bluetooth right. i like sony cause i already have alot of sony memory stick cause i have 2 digital camera and video cam that use memory stick also. i like the tung cause it has bigger memory stick. and i heard sony has the best looking screen. the only thing i don't like about the tg-50 is no graffiti. with the graffiti some of my hacks won't work.

yeah i have the drivers for the palm so i can use bluetooth or infared with the t68i and i'm using tealphone which seem like it has a dial feature

From somewhat credible rumors, the TG50 is supposed to come out sometime in March. It could be later though, I don't know.

It does have bluetooth. It also seems to have OS5, and be slightly thinner.

Many people are complaining about the built in keyboard. Who knows? Sony might release 2 versions, one with the keyboard, and one with virtual graffiti and a larger screen. Like the Handspring Treo. Many people want this and have talked about it. (I also want it!)

By the way, you can use graffiti on a keyboard device too. Just download an application like Graffiti Anywhere, which lets you write Graffiti anywhere on the screen.

Sony's website says they will relese a 256 MB version around April, and I think a 512 MB version too (not sure). I think they also said somewhere that a 1 GigaByte version would be out by the end of the year. However, the 256 and 512 versions were supposed to be March. They might push it off even longer, or not. I can't tell you.

Sony hasn't been too good with the memory sticks. They say now that all OS4-and below devices can NOT support the new bigger memory sticks. Originaly they said they could. Plus they pushed off the release date of the new memory sticks.

But I am assuming (and hoping) they will release them soon. And besides, if you would get a TG50, and it has OS5 (which seems to be %90-95 true) then it should (sorry for so many assumes and shoulds :) but I think it is all a yes just can't promise) support the newer memory sticks.

I say that because the NX and NZ handhelds, both OS5, support the new memory sticks. And I say it probaly has OS5, because it has a voice recorder, which so far only OS5 devices have.

My advice? If you don't care about memory or design, and want it now, go with the Tungsten T. But I would wait for the TG50 at least another month because it is thinner, plus it supports your memory sticks (and it's Sony :) ).

However if you HATE the keyboard, then you could buy a Tungsten, but it is possiable that Sony MIGHT release a TG50 with Graffiti.

If you could wait, then you could buy a TG50 with graffiti "when" it comes out, and if Sony doesn't make a TG50 with Graffiti, then buy the Tungsten T then. It might be a bit cheaper then too.

Sorry if this post is long and confusing, just trying to help :)

Wait for the TG50. It will be MUCH thinner than the Tungsten, and you will appreciate the built-in keyboard when sending emails and chatting on AOL IM :) I know I do.

Get the Tungsten if you want the memory. Those memory stick pros are hella expensive.

MS PROs are also significantly faster than SD and CF. You get what you pay for.

yea i think i'm gonna wait till the tg-50 comes out and then hopefully the store i got it from discontinue the t665. then hopefully my t665 breaks so i can hopefully get them to exchange it with the tg-50. the reason i want alot of memory is to carry mp3 so its not a big thing

P800 is not a Palm base and use MS Duo. Otherwise, it could be a good hybird PDA. My friend who use it complain about crashes. It seems that the OS is not stable. MS Pro is out in March with reduce price. This info has been discussed in different thread. T/W is OS 4.1 and you will miss the hi-res and MP3. I really wish TG50 has a tri-band GSM phone function...that's my dream.
