Sony Clie SL10.
An application froze on me requireing a (warm?) reset (just inserting stylus in the reset hole).

Now it boots with the following message:

Erase all data?
YES - "up" button
No - any other button

Pressing 'any other button' just turns the device off. Restarting it brings be back to the same screen. I am trying to avoid eraseing all data.

This thing has worked fine for the last six month, until a couple weeks ago, when after a sync it was unexpectedly hard reset.
Now I have this problem.
Does anyone know how I get ahold of Sony Clie Support?
HELP! PLEASE?

Looks like you have some corrupt data on your system. If you do a hard reset, you should be able to get everything back next time you sync

it would also help to do a MS Backup so if you every lose your Data all you have to do is Restore it form your Memory stick

Strange. It sounds like you have no other choice than to hard reset.  Haven't heard this one before.  Although your RAM data will be erased, you still have backup data in PC (under C:\Program Files\Sony Handheld\your username\backup). The only data you won't be able to restore are the ones that you have entered after the last HotSync.

Before you hard reset it you may want to remove the culprit app, that had caused the problem to begin with, off the PC backup file so the problem won't re-occur after the next HotSync.

I believe that DanT is correct. I had this happen to me after an app install a couple of months ago, but I don't remember which one (I test a lot of stuff). I use BackupBuddy and was able to recover everything within minutes.

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO PROVIDED INPUT.

I will probably hard reset and restore from backups.
I will suffer only a little data lose. Loss of service is also a pain.
