Seriously thinking of selling my NX80V and getting Zodiac2.
The big problem is the huge investment I've made in peripherals, especially CF (1 gb card, CF dialup modem, GPS, etc...)
Many of these peripherals have only worked due to Pelaca's awesome drivers. I assume that there are no similar workarounds for SD, but I hope I'm wrong.
If I switch to Zodiac will I be able to use GPS, dial up, etc... If so, I'm ready to take the plunge.

Did that iGolf SDIO GPS thingamajig ever come out? If so, it might work, but I haven't heard from anyone who's actually used on. Honestly, I think you'd be better off just buying a Bluetooth GPS device. You can get them now for as low as $150, which is probably about what that iGolf would cost anyway. Plus, the iGolf thing sticks out a lot. And, with GPS you also need to have a decent view of the sky which isn't necessarily compatible with placing your PDA in an optimal location inside your car.

I agree with Scott, take a look at Bluetooth peripherals. Bluetooth GPS sounds like a good option (I have heard it works great with Mapopolis on the Zodiac). I use a Bluetooth Dial-up modem for internet access on my Zodiac, and it works great.

I personally use an Emtac BT GPS (very small) works very well with both my T3 and my PC, I use Mapopolis and TripPilot on the T3 and Streets and Trips on the PC.

I've definitely been looking at a Bluetooth GPS...this way you can put the reciever near the window where it can receive a good signal. Also, it would be easier to use with future PDA's since it's not device specific. Proporta sells one for $219.95

Okay, so bluetooth it is. Are there any Wifis that I can connect to via BT? You want to connect a WiFi card to your Zod via BT? Sorry, no can do :(. You'll have to wait for someone's SD WiFi card if you want WiFi.
