how good is the audio adapter for sj20? is it worth $100

In my opinion, $100 for an MP3 feature is pricey. In addition, you have to invest on memory sticks.
You can upgrade to T665c or the SJ33 for MP3. You'll get the added benefits of colour screen and faster processors.
Even better, get an MD player.
