Hi,
I have been trying to get the syncing between my UX and my job PC to work. After an exhasutive search on the Internet I managed to get the syncing to work via IR. (My job PC is a restricted one meaning that my Windows account is not allowed to install software.)
My problem is that nothing gets synced. The hotsync app shows that it goes through DateBook, Contacts and all that but my Clie is left just as empty when I started the sync.
So here is my question:
Can you sync data with hotsync if all the Outlook data resides on a Exchange server? (If I disconnect from our company LAN I canno longer access email and contacts and such meaning that everything must be stored on the Exchange server.)
Any feedback on this issue would be very much appreciated.
