Is there a trick to getting MessagEaseKB to pop up in Docs to Go? I'm using the popup hack, not the stamp. But tapping on the "abc" spot in the graffiti area brings up the standard qwerty keyboard, not MessagEase, in Docs to Go. (this on a T665)

TIA

I tried this on my T675C and itīs working fine. Iīm using v. 2.9 of MessageEaseKB.

I know itīs an odd question, but did you activate the MEKB in X-Master (or what ever extension app you use)?

Well, I'm using the newest version, 3.3, and it is activated in xmaster.

I think I was using 3.1 before and it had a few glitches in it. And same DTG problem. New version eliminated the glitches.

Now, I have the DTG applications running off the MS, dunno if that makes any difference. Using V5.004 build 587 of DTG, what are you using?

Would you mind PM'ing me your earlier version so I can try it out???

Well, answering my own question, here's a response from exideas.com (MessagEase folks):

"We have come across this issue before which made us contact Dataviz to inquire about it. They told us that DocumentToGo uses a special QWERTY keyboard (not he palm keyboard!) which is innate to their program. They said they did this since they had many problems with Palm's keyboard.

"Since they use their own keyboard regardless, unfortunately it is up to them to open it up to use other, external keyboards."

Perhaps this is a feature in the later versions of DTG.
