Getting old Clie Flix?

I was so excited to start DLing clie flix (especially family guy shows) when i discovered the site is permanently down. I read the thread which basically directed you to DL mIRC and find #clie. Not being familiar with IRC at all, I tried it but cannot find a clie channel. Anyone know where I can find these films/tv shows or if I'm doin something wrong?

Do a quick search under the Movies section. There were directions. I am still trying to figure out how to get the movies to play.

digitalant make sure you go onto the irc.autobotnation.com server and /join #clie
No other servers will work. If you have trouble, PLEASE read through the manual or some online help (google.com). It is not as hard as you think.

I have read some help directly on mIRC and also some help from googling. I have been able to connect to other servers. When I try to connect to /server irc.autobotnation.com the server (6667). It says unable to resolve IRC server and then keeps trying to connect, unsuccessfully.

In the help it says this "Unable to resolve IRC Server
If you try to connect to a server and see this message, the problem could be:

Your Internet Provider's DNS isn't working
This happens occasionally and is a temporary problem with your Internet Provider. This problem would also result in your being unable to connect to other internet services such as web sites. You should try again later.

An Invalid or Non-working IRC Server address
You might be trying to connect to an IRC Server that is currently not working, or perhaps is an old address and doesn't exist anymore. You should try another IRC Server."

Is this server not running any longer?

Yes I just noticed this problem in the last day or two. If it is still not up within a couple days I will move the channel to a new server. Sorry about this, but it's beyond my control.

Thanks for following up on this. I'm excited to check out this channel and get some of the great Flix & shows that were available on clieflix once you switch to a new server. If you can post here when you put up a new server it would be very appreciated. Thanks!

Still trying to find this server on mIRC or tv show downloads ANYWHERE. ANy luck with the new channel or on someone's personal site...anything?????

Hello all...

Not sure how many NX'ers are out there still. I have come across a great hosting company and was thinking of re-viving my OLD ClieFlix.com site.

Couple things. First I would have to get a new name since I didn't bother hanging on to that name some bum grab it and uses it as a money making portal. (smart for him...too bad for me) So I would need a new domain name...anyone have some ideas? ;)

But even before that I want to see if anyone would actually be interested in this or not. Believe it or not I have ALL my videos stored away from the site on about 10 DVDs...that's like 40gbs of Clie Flix that I have.

So now I leave the table open to all the fans that remember my old site and of course for anyone new that would like to see a place to pick up daily flix.

I will be including (and not limited to):

Funny commercials
Music Videos
Trailers
TV Shows
Movies

That's the start of it.

That would be excellent. I, for one, would be very interested. I'm sure there are others out there whose clies are still going strong, who would like to watch movies on the go.
