Cool, that must mean something, they have too many, or something else is coming. I'm glad I waited now.

$50 rebate for a $150 WL100 is really attractive! I wonder it would ever happen again...

I notice the rebate runs through May 3, 2003, and from looking at the rebate form, it does not seem to be CompUSA specific, so you probably don't have to buy it through them. It also seems to be good on a WL110 card, but I can't find any information on what that might be.

It's a Sony rebate.

Merry Christmas everybody !
Could anyone with fortune telling skills or gigantic testicles be able to say if the wifi card will go down in price like say in one (1) year? Later bra

I am curious about the wi-fi card. with this card, how much can one really use it? I mean are there plenty of places that have wi-fi cababilities? will I be able to surf the web anywhere I go? I am debating on getting the wi-fi card, just not sure how usable it will be?
thanks,

eric, the wi-fi kard isn't especially useful, like i love it, but i honestly haven't used it that much. i goto a college that has wi-fi on campus and i have it at home, but i just don't use it that much to surf, and i get a little frustrated when tryin to use aim because i have to use graftti to type or the small keyboard, its really more of a fun thing to have than anything else.
and by the way, sony screws me again!, i literally just bought the kard like 3 weeks ago, past the return policy. i seriously just didn't see this rebate coming, who'd have thunk it.....

Well, you could buy another, not open it, copy the receipt, return it and then send THAT receipt in with the UPC code. 'Course, that might not be totaly honest, so......I don't condone that.
