First off I would like to say that this new forum with src1 crap blows. Where is the specific NZ forums? Anyways, I think I might have droped my NZ somewhere and is now not looking the way it should. Everything works internall but I might have damaged the covering. If anyone could check their own, close the palm completely and look at the joint where the screen swivels. Is there a gap where you can visibly see a little bit of the 4 big buttons? I am not talking a big gap but a gap where you can see maybe 1/4 or 1/5 of the buttons. Let me know please. Thanks.

Nope. You bent it.

I dropped my a year or so ago and not only was there a new gap, but the hinge was crooked. The digitizer was off center. I tried bending it back to center, but it only helped slightly.

I was able to use it for another year or so without problems (the gap still annoyed me, however). A month ago, the digitizer finally stopped working properly (I'd get random spikes in whatever I was drawing). I sent it into Sony to get fixed.

Now the digitizer and hinge is properly up against the case. There is almost no gap at all in that area.

My advice is to just live with that new gap and see how it goes. If everything still works, Great!

yeah, i have a gap in mine too. i have also dropped the NZ a few times *hasn't everyone?* but had mine fall 4 feet to solid ground breaking the corner piece of the case around the IR port and the main hinge connecting the cam to the main board. i was so suprised and thought my NZ was a goner. but i underwent some serious 'super-glue surgery' and got it working again except IR no longer works, too bad. but i still got Wifi and BT! anyway, as long as my NZ still lives, i won't be switching to another Clie.
