Can we Have a seperate games forum again?

I really liked the way cliesource had a seperate games forum. I was hopping we could have that here because I don't like having to go through the other non games topics.

yes me too i hate 1 src im even thinking about leaving i have been a fan of cliesource for many a time now that they have changed its ridiculous no sidebar the forums are screwed. Too bad they didnt have an (i hate it) option in the how do you like the site poll. Absolutly ridiculous hope reggie sees this post! i hope if enough people tell them they will consider to go back to the way cliesuorce looks. Thats ridicilous when they say newer sleeker look the site is stupid the forums are stupid and also NO SUPPORT FOR THE FREAKIN SJ!!!!!!! in my opinion this is about 100 steps in the WRONG direction,

Things take time. I am sure additional forum groups will be added as needed. Palms have wireless and games, so I expect some of this will be managed. change takes time.

Think about how little time Reggie has had to set this up, there is a LOT of stuff and a mad amount of hard work to apreciate here!

Give it time, have patience.

Isn't games classified as applications? All the games threads in ClieSource have been transferred to the Applications forum. Try doing a search (http://www.1src.com/forums/search.php?).

Games are applications, but they are a relatively unique subset of games. The Apps section is basically for productivity stuff.

You can search for stuff, but that's only half the value of the forums. The other half is browsing and discovering new apps/games.

I think it really depends on the forum traffic from the old site. If the Games forum had really small traffic, then perhaps combining them is justified. OTOH, it's not like it costs extra to have another forum- ;)

Reggie, please keep in mind that many Cliesource members do the multimedia thing with their CLIE's- games, movies, music, etc. If you totally eliminate some of these old forums, you really risk turning 1src.com into another Palminfocenter or Brighthand.

It was easier to see the games threads and not have to see stuff about other software.

It would also be nice to have a general sony forum as well.

But maybe I'm getting greedy.
