Today, I stumbled upon the Project@Hand 2 software by Natara (http://www.natara.com) (makers of Bonsai). After playing around with it for a few hours, I'm impressed. It does a very nice job with Gantt charts on the go. As I have to keep track of many projects, this type of application is very nice.

My question is about other alternatives. Does anyone know of other software that allows this type of functionality? I've looked at ShadowPlan (http://www.codejedi.com/shadowplan/about.html), Bonsai (http://www.natara.com/Bonsai/index.cfm), Progect (http://www.alawa.ch/progect_main.php), ThoughtManager (http://www.handshigh.com/html/thoughtmanager.html), and similar alternatives, but they don't provide the functionality offered by Project@Hand 2.

Additionally, for users of P@H2, is there anyway to set up default preferences so that when I select a date/time for the start and end times, it doesn't bring up the "Adjust Date" window each time? Ideally, I would like to be able to move tasks around on the Gantt chart, but it doesn't seem possible as of yet.

Thanks in advance for any advice and/or assistance.

Me as well has used Project@Hand it is nice and quite powerful, but sometimes my entries are not recognized and although I entered a later date I end up with the same as before.
You can only 'default' the hours for a specific Task not for all at once.
Have you found another app with that functionality- I am as well searching desperately..

cant help you with the Q about P@H2, I use 1.5 because of the conduit but I know that its the best at project tracking that I've seen. There was one other company working on a conduit based app of similar function, but I think its vaporware now.
