Ok, After my initial post of joy, and excitement that my NZ90 was charging, I have got to use this thing for 3 days. Here are a few comments:

Battery Life: These is way over played on this forum. I have been able to simulate my normal procedure for takening pictures. 10-20 at a time, with flash, and do not notice any super drain on the battery. Not sure what the hype is about, but I don't see it.

Size: Another over played item. Ok, yes it's bigger than the Palm TT, BUT the screen is bigger, has a built in CF card slot, and it has a build in 2 MP camera. Obviously anything with these features is going to be larger. Is it a brick, no way. Try laying it next to an Ipaq with a sleeve installed. My cousins Casio is thicker and it does about 1/8 of the things the NZ does.

Screen: Wow, bright and beautiful. Outside in the sunlight on Friday I had no problems seeing the screen. The best screen I have seen on any handheld.

Pictures: Great so far. I have not really taken serious must need pictures yet. I will next week. But so far, the image quality is great.

Features: Very impressed with Sony's package of software, and useful tools. I haven't had a chance to play with everything yet.

WIFI: It works great with my Apple Airport at home, and SMC Barricade at work. Easy to set up. If anyone needs tips, let me know. I know some people are scratching their heads on this subject. One note, the browser is a little weak, I am looking for something better.

Syncing: As an OS X person, I can sync fine using iSync. I did need to install Missing Sync 3.05 for tis to work. No Problems. Again, if anyone needs tips, let me know. I was also able to sync via bluetooth with no problems.

Thats it for now.

See ya

yeah quick question about isync....on my old palm m505 no probs, but with the clie (and missingSync installed) under Conduit-setup, iSync doesnt show up under the conduit name?!

I have no clue (good thing missingSync works with palmDesktop)

You need to re-install iSync, and then the Isync conduit. There are two things that need installed before you will see the iSync Conduit settings.

Fireant:

Download the lastest iSync from Apple's web site. After you download, you will have two (2) files to install. The iSync programs it's self and the iSync Palm Conduit.

Best of luck

Johngaetano:

Five days ago I switched to the nz90 from an nx70. The screen is brilliant, and so far the nz90 has met all my expectations. Bluetooth with OSX, isync and missing sync 3.0.5 works smoothly as does the wifi card with airport. For me the nz90 is ideal: at work a handy 2mega pixel camera can really save time, for business travel good mp3 and a now reasonable camera in a single device is rather useful.

I was pleased to read that the NZ90 will sync via bluetooth with the Missing Sync. Can anyone tell me if I can use my bluetooth phone (SE T68i) with the NZ90? I would like to be able to browse the web by using my phone as a modem to dial into my ISP. Will this work. My cell account is with Rogers ATT and they tell me I need something called Portage. Does Portage run on the NZ90?

Thanks.

Although I have not tried it, I have seen a lot of other posts regarding BT phones and the t68i.
I do believe from reading that BT surfing is not the fastest in the world, but it works.

John,

Can you transfer files with Bluetooth? I am unable to do this. I would like to see files on the memory stick on a removable drive like with MS Import. Is this possible with Bluetooth?

I can't even send pictures using bluetooth. I followed the instructions in the Clie manual for using Clie Viewer. It starts off right and finds my PC, but it won't send.

I am able to hotsynch with bluetooth. Just can't transfer files. Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

I have had no success transfering files via Bluetooth. Obviously I can install files, but I can't move files.

Could be something I'm missing. Maybe someone else can help.

Sorry
John
