The Next Hi End Palm??

I think Palm had better release a high end OS6 model and fast. Most of the people who bought Sony products wanted all the whistles and bells. Why spend $500-$800 on a PDA, plus all the accessories, unless you’re a hand held junkie.

If Palm doesn’t scratch that itch, and quickly, I think we’ll see a mass exodus to what ever has the most bells and whistles. God help us all as that might be PPC! :eek:

I went down this road with Apple, finally giving in to the Gates momentum. If Palm doesn’t get a high end OS6 model out quickly I’m afraid they’ll lose a very important segment of sales and start a downward spiral that will make them a fringe player and could spell their end. :(

problem is palmOne hasn't come up with anything real ground breaking. I actually bought palm onlu once. it was palm IIIxe in 2000. then I figured out that TRG pro with CF lost is better. then I bought sony clie JS30, TG50 and now I own UX50.

why ? because none of the palm products attracted my attention due to the fact they are just normal. nothing that would make me spend so much money on it.

and the last thing that tied me to palm os was sony. now I have one reason more jump on the other boat.

What are the chances of buying Japanese Clies and using them here in the US? I suppose there would be issues with language etc.. :confused:
