Sony Movies on Pocket PC

Since my pocket pc has a 1 gb card (cost only $250, I was wondering if it was possible to somehow play a sony movie recorded on Giga Pocket with a pocket pc. Is the movie format of Sony Mpeg 4?

Cool! A gb memory stick for only $250 - I heard they were going to be around $800!  Still a little steep for me, but have put it on my "wish list."

I don't know exactly what format Giga Pocket video capsules are in, but I know you have to convert video to either MPEG1 or MPEG2 in order to play it in Giga Pocket. You can only play the GP video capsules recorded in GP with Pico Player (installed on another computer) or with another Giga Pocket computer, unless you first convert them to a MPEG1 or 2. However, the Clie comes with a "Giga Pocket" plug-in for the Clie (called a "Clie converter."). After installing it, you can drop the video capsule right from the Giga Pocket manager into the plug-in converter (like you drop a .doc file into the Documents to Go installer) and it will convert the video capsule to a format the Clie will play (either Movie Player format or gMovie. Movie Player format is a much higher quality than gMovie). It's very easy to do, and the resulting video on the Clie is truly awesome. With your gb memory stick, you could fit quite a few full-length movies on there!

No, he has a ppc with prolly a CF slot that houses either a 1gb microdrive or flash card. Not a sony MS.
