I would like someone to confirm my worst fear or offer some hope.
Three days ago I updated from Windows ME:mad: to Windows XP Home. Everything turned out like I suspected it would, lots of software reinstalls. One of them being Palm desktop from my T3. I set it up like I did when I had ME. First Palm desktop, then Sony basic for the drivers for my TH-55, then reinstalled Palm desktop back over it. The following pda's were able to sync without a problem. The Z71, T/E, and TH-55. But not the T3. I then redid this method 4 times, each time clearing everything out, even using Windows Installer Cleanup exe. All four times the other three pda's were able to sync the first time, but the T3 still will not.
Was it merely a coincidence that my T3 stopped syncing the day I installed XP or am I missing something special the T3 needs. I'm new to using XP. I know it isn't the cradle because I synced the Z71 from it. And all the usb ports are working because I checked those as well with the cradle and T/E. Any ideas would be helpful.
One more thing. If it is the T3 not being able to use usb to sync, can I still use a serial cable to sync? Might order it from Palm if I need it. Thanks.
