Energy Dimmer doesn't work?

I used to have Energy Dimmer on my T2, but after loading all the programs on to my Z72, Energy Dimmer doesn't want to work. I've seen reports elsewhere about not being able to dim the screen on the T3 more than the inbuilt settings and wondered if anyone knows if this is the same with the Z72. Is it something in OS 5.2.8?

It seems that they have to slightly retool Energy Dimmer for every new device that comes out, since each one seems to have a slightly different dimming scheme.

yes every palm has a different dimmer i have experimeted with the t/t and the t/t2
